Vitamins and minerals for men
Most men's formulas lean on a familiar set of nutrients. The reason is practical: these appear most often in foods men eat less of, so they show up in everyday blends. Below is what each one does in plain terms, and where it comes from.
- Vitamin D
- Common in blends because sun exposure is uneven for anyone working indoors. Also found in fatty fish and fortified foods.
- B-complex
- A group of vitamins involved in normal energy metabolism. Present in whole grains, eggs, and leafy greens.
- Zinc
- Frequently listed in men's blends. Found in meat, shellfish, beans, and seeds. Labels usually show it as elemental zinc.
- Magnesium
- Often paired with zinc. Found in nuts, seeds, and dark leafy vegetables. Check whether the label lists oxide or citrate.
- Selenium
- Appears in smaller amounts, sometimes with vitamin E. Found in Brazil nuts, fish, and eggs.
We don't promise a specific result, and we don't dress up a standard ingredient list as something rare. If a blend is basically the same as five others on the shelf, we say that too. Take the label, not the marketing page, as your starting point.
