About Vitalitas and how we work
Editorial catalog · not a manufacturer, not a pharmacy
We read labels on natural supplements for men, compare the figures, and write down what we find — including the parts that stay unclear.
Who we are
A reading list that turned into a catalog
Vitalitas is a small editorial and catalog operation based in Jakarta. We look at natural supplements for men — vitamins and minerals for men, energy and endurance supplements, and the everyday healthy lifestyle products that sit beside them — and we write about them in a way a normal reader can follow. We are not a manufacturer, not a pharmacy, and we select products rather than make them.
It started with the same questions coming back from friends and colleagues: which one, how much, is it worth it, where do you buy it in Indonesia. Nobody answered those without overselling, so we began collecting label information, comparing figures side by side, and writing it up. The team is small and the work is editorial. We don't hold clinical qualifications and we don't present ourselves as if we did. The job is to make the catalog readable and the ingredient information honest — nothing more ambitious than that.
That means a reader can arrive with a half-formed question, open one entry, and leave knowing what the label says, what the daily amount works out to, and what the entry does not cover. If a listing can't answer those three things, it isn't finished yet.
The catalog is built the way this cloth is woven — one thread at a time, checked twice before it stays.
What that means for you
- Ingredient amounts come from the label, not from a marketing page.
- Every entry says which format it is and how it is stored in a humid climate.
- Gaps get named as gaps instead of being filled with confident wording.
What we are not
Clear about the edges of our work
We are not a manufacturer and we don't own any of the brands in the catalog. That matters, because it means we have no reason to push one formula over another. When a product is weak on paper we say so; when two products are basically interchangeable we say that too, since it's more useful to a reader than pretending each one is unique.
Our side of the desk
We gather label information, check the figures, keep entries current, and answer questions about specific products before someone orders.
Beyond it
Anything that needs an assessment of your own situation belongs with a qualified professional who can look at your full picture — not with a catalog page.
Never hidden
When we don't know something — batch consistency, a supplier's sourcing, an unclear ingredient amount — the entry says so on the page.
How the catalog is built
One product at a time, reviewed twice
Slower than a typical product feed on purpose. Here is the order of work behind a single entry.
Reading the label first
Someone on the team reads the pack, notes ingredient amounts, format, and how many servings the container actually covers.
Step 01
Second pair of eyes
Another person checks the entry for accuracy and for wording that overstates what a supplement can reasonably do.
Step 02
Availability in Indonesia
We check whether the product can currently be sourced here and whether the supplier answers basic questions. If it can't be sourced reliably, it doesn't go in — even with a strong reputation elsewhere.
Step 03
Writing it plainly
The finished entry lists the product, its format, the daily amounts on the label, and a short note on who it may suit — in ordinary language, without promises.
Step 04
What we look for in a product
Three questions, asked in order
Is the label clear?
Question one
Products that hide amounts inside an unspecified blend, or that list an ingredient without saying how much, get flagged in the entry. A reader should be able to see the figures without hunting for them.
Is the format practical here?
Question two
Indonesia is hot and humid, and storage matters. Natural capsules, tablets, and sealed dry formats generally travel and keep better than liquids, and we note the format on every entry so you can plan around it.
Can the supplier answer questions?
Question three
If a supplier can't say where an ingredient comes from or how batches are kept consistent, we leave the product out. None of these three checks is a guarantee of quality, and we don't describe them as one.
Format is part of the entry. A dry, sealed format usually keeps better through a Jakarta wet season than a liquid does, and that belongs in the write-up.
Where our information comes from
Labels and supplier documentation, not marketing lines
Ingredient information comes from the product label and, where it exists, from the manufacturer's own documentation. We don't lift claims from promotional pages and restate them as fact. Where a nutrient has a well-known general role — B-vitamins in normal energy metabolism, for example — we describe it in plain terms and stop there.
- No studies cited that we haven't read ourselves.
- No numbers attached to outcomes, because a label can't support them.
- When information comes from the supplier rather than the pack, the entry says which.
Our limits
What a catalog like this can honestly offer
We can't test products in a laboratory and we don't claim to. We can't see inside a factory and we don't claim to. What we can do is read labels carefully, ask suppliers direct questions, and write down what we find — including the parts nobody could answer.
Where something is missing we say it's missing rather than closing the gap with a confident sentence. Treat every listing as a starting point for your own reading, and bring questions you want answered to someone qualified to answer them.
Editorial independence
No payment for a place in the catalog
A supplier never approves or edits our product text. Entries are written by the people who read the label.
Writer · editorial team
There is no advertising on the catalog today. If any ever appears, it will be labeled clearly and kept away from the entries.
Current status · no ads running
Our only interest is a catalog useful enough that people come back. That is also why a weak product gets dropped instead of kept.
Standard · review on every update
Visiting and contacting us
Ask before you order
We're happy to answer questions about a specific product before you order it. If you're a supplier and want to submit something for review, use the same email address and put the product name in the subject line — we read everything, even when we can't list it.

Common questions
Before you read the catalog
Do you sell the products, or just write about them?
The catalog lists what we've reviewed and where it can be sourced in Indonesia. Order pickup can be arranged at the office on Jl. MH Thamrin, and you can ask us about a specific product before you commit to it.
How often does an entry change?
Whenever the label, the pack size, or the supplier's availability changes — and whenever we find something we got wrong. Corrections are made on the entry itself rather than quietly, so a reader who returns sees the current version.
Can I suggest a men's vitamin supplement for review?
Yes. Email the product name and where it's currently available to [email protected]. We can't promise it will be listed, and submitting doesn't influence the wording of an entry that does get published.
What if I need advice about my own situation?
That belongs with a qualified professional who can look at your full picture. Our pages describe ingredients, formats, and intended use; they aren't a substitute for a conversation with someone who knows your history.
Vitalitas publishes product information, not medical advice. Supplements are not medicines; check with a qualified professional before starting anything new, especially alongside other products.
Where to go next
Start with how we choose, then read the shelf
The selection standards come first because they explain everything else on the site. After that, the catalog itself — natural supplements for men, vitamins and minerals for men, and the healthy lifestyle products that sit around them.
